Dear my growing babies, it's your crazy mama again with all her wild ideas. It's been nearly a year since my last letter, and so much has changed. I strive to ensure that even if there are storms, you never feel the effects of the weather I bring to your skies. I find great peace in it being just the three of us, in the world we've created together. It's so natural and helps me adjust to the ever-changing comfort of this shifting world.

Look at that, it's almost your birthday, Ammy. My big girl. My first baby girl. People often ask if you girls have my personality, and it's an intriguing answer. You behave like I did at your age, while your sister mirrors my current self. Two different stages of my life, living with me, helping me grow. In many moments with you girls, I feel the urge to send a quick text to grandma to share the funny things you do, the adventures you embark on, and the changes you've made. I suppose I have to get used to keeping these moments to myself. (rest in love mom)

I find myself always trying to set things up for you girls to make things easier for you. My motivation stems from a deep desire to see you thrive and flourish in your lives, both now and in the future. I want things to be easier for you, not merely in a way that enables you to avoid challenges, but rather in a manner that equips you with the tools, knowledge, and resources necessary to navigate the complexities of life with confidence and resilience. I aim to ensure that you don’t have to start from the bottom when you eventually find yourselves on your own, facing the world with its myriad opportunities and obstacles.

Reflecting on my own journey, I realize that I didn’t have someone there to teach me many of the lessons that I now find myself imparting to you. I had to learn through experience, often facing trial and error, which sometimes felt overwhelming. It was through this process that I figured out a lot of my life on my own. Despite my intelligence and determination, I still made a multitude of mistakes along the way. Each misstep taught me valuable lessons, but they also set me back in terms of my potential and progress. I often think about how these setbacks could have been avoided had I had more guidance and support.

I want to spare you from experiencing similar challenges that could hinder your growth and development. You deserve better than to stumble through life without a roadmap or a mentor to help you navigate the ups and downs. I know better now, and I firmly believe that access to this knowledge and wisdom should not be limited or void. It is my responsibility and privilege to share what I have learned with you, to help you avoid the pitfalls and to encourage you to seize the opportunities that come your way.

If I do anything in this life, I will make it my mission to ensure that you girls are set up for success. I envision a future where you are empowered, informed, and ready to take on the world with a sense of purpose and determination. I will be successful, and I will do everything in my power to ensure that my children will also be successful. This is not just a wish; it is a commitment to you. I want you to know that you have the potential to achieve greatness, and I will be your steadfast supporter, guiding you every step of the way. Together, we will build a foundation that allows you to reach your dreams and aspirations without the weight of unnecessary burdens holding you back. Your success is my success, and I am dedicated to making that a reality.

## Cherished Morning Moments

There are certain moments that I have been cherishing lately, which bring an overwhelming sense of warmth and joy to my heart. One of these moments occurs in the early hours of the morning, the world outside is still waking up, and as I lie there, I often hear the gentle sounds of one of you slowly emerging from your room, coming to hug me.

Another moment that has been particularly special to me is when I return home from my night shift in the early morning hours. As I quietly slip into the house, I make my way to my bedroom, and there you are, Haylo, peacefully sleeping on my side of the bed, just as I like it, with the fan humming softly in the background. The scene is so familiar and comforting, and it fills my heart with a deep sense of peace. I can’t help but smile at how perfectly you’ve mirrored my preferences, creating a cozy little sanctuary for us both.

You are my beautiful girls, and these moments are treasures that I hold close to my heart. I often find myself reflecting on how much I cherish these times together, and I pray that some things never change. I pray that you will always choose my company when you seek comfort, that you will continue to find solace in our shared space, and that the love we have nurtured will remain a constant source of joy in our lives. These moments, filled with love and connection, are the essence of what makes our family so special, and I hope we can continue to create many more memories like these in the years to come.
